Douglas Lieberman

Douglas M. Lieberman is a 1986 graduate of the Hofstra University School of Law, where he was an Articles Editor of the Hofstra Labor Law Journal. Mr. Lieberman was named a New York Metro Area Super Lawyer in the area of business litigation in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. A former member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau County Bar Association, he is also a former Editor-in-Chief and currently an Associate Editor of Nassau Lawyer, the Associationā€™s monthly legal publication. 

Mr. Lieberman has authored a number of scholarly articles published in Nassau Lawyer; a Note published in the Hofstra Labor Law Journal; and revised a chapter entitled ā€œThe Mechanics of Beginningā€ in the treatise Art of Advocacy ā€“ Preparation of the Case. Decisions in matters handled by Mr. Lieberman have been reported and noted. Mr. Lieberman is admitted to practice before the State Courts of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States Federal Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. 

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and the Jewish Lawyers Association. Mr. Lieberman is also active in his synagogue, being a Past President, a member of its Board of Trustees since 2001, and a member and Chair of various committees.
